Beach Baby, Beach Baby

A couple of weekends ago, we went on a family vacation (Daddy's parents/The Grandparents, Uncles and Cousin Mikey included) to N. Padre Island. We stayed at a beachfront condo with a beautiful view. It was Little Girl's first time at the beach and she LOVED it. She just started walking about a week before our trip and I envisioned us chasing a roaming toddler out into the ocean. But, she was much more focused on exploring in the sand. She especially loved the hole Daddy dug for her, and instantly plopped right down in it and refused to get out. It was hilarious!

This was the view from our private balcony! Fancy, huh? When Little Girl napped, Daddy and Mommy tried to squeeze in some time just relaxing here. Miss that view, for sure.
That night, Little Girl slept in our bed for the first time ever, and I have to admit, I kinda loved it.
Saturday we had dinner at a place that was on a pier, so we got to watch the sunset. Of course, it was magnificently beautiful. And of course Margot chowed down somethin' fierce.
Speaking of fierce: I've been awaiting the debut of L.G.'s adorable Guncle birthday gift, a Lilly Pullitzer dress, and it was so appropriate for the weekend, it had to be worn for dinner Saturday night! Look at the sunrise on Sunday morning that we set our alarms for! We went out as a family (Mommy, Daddy & Little Girl) and watched the sun peek it's head out from under it's cloud covers. It was pretty special.
